The Hitachi VTS0005 Engine Variable Valve Timing VVT Solenoid is a single solenoid that can fit on either the left or right bank of the engine. While the product originally showed filter screens, the manufacturer has since eliminated them without providing any explanation. Unfortunately, the description does not mention that screens are needed, making it difficult to find compatible ones for purchase. Customers have used this product to try and solve a Bank 1 camshaft issue, but have found that Infiniti cars are picky with sensors and require an actual Infiniti brand part for proper diagnosis. If you see codes such as P0011 Bank 1 or P0014 Bank 2, this OEM part will be necessary.
