It has a clean and decently smooth surface, is relatively thick and can take pastels, crayons, alcohol markers, and different paints well. However, some users have reported that it's not suitable for watercolor as it curls up when saturated, and it's not a heavyweight paper. It has good bleed-resistant qualities but doesn't work well with inkjet printers.
