It requires a 24V transformer and a relay to operate AC fixtures; however, it is precision fit and comes with all hardware included. The switch needs a single 13/16" drill bit to install it in the door frame, and the spade bit makes quick work of the hole. The mounting tabs are thin, and the switch is susceptible to breakage if dropped.
