Proscan Boomboxes Editorial Review
The Proscan PRCD1037BT-BLACK/TITANIUM 3-Watt-RMS Portable CD Boom Box aims to deliver a blend of portability and multimedia enjoyment, equipped with Bluetooth capabilities and an AM/FM radio. Customer feedback reveals a mixed reception, with some users enjoying the sound quality and functionality for casual listening. One user highlighted its suitability as a gift, indicating a positive experience overall. However, several concerns emerge that significantly impact the product’s reputation. A notable issue is the malfunction of the disc reading capability after limited use, which has frustrated several customers. The Construction seems to have design flaws—it features a single-sided disc holder that may lead to misalignment and eventual failure in reading discs. Additionally, customers reported poor speaker quality, describing the sound as dim and unclear, which diminishes the overall listening experience. In summary, while the Proscan PRCD1037BT serves well as a versatile boom box and is welcomed for casual use, design and performance issues have left some customers dissatisfied. **
