Godin Acoustic Guitars 051830 Editorial Review
**** The Godin classical guitar presents a compelling blend of craftsmanship and sound quality that resonates well with a majority of its users. Constructed with solid wood materials such as a cedar top paired with mahogany sides and back, the guitar showcases a beautiful finish that adds to its graceful aesthetic appeal. Many customers found the build quality and attention to detail commendable, citing that the guitar is very playable right out of the box, with action measurements that lend it a comfortable playability. The new Fishman clasica ii pickup system has replaced the previous Q1t, garnering mixed reactions from users. While some appreciated the upgraded pre-amp, others noted difficulties with the battery box being tricky to open. Initially, the tone may take some time to settle, especially due to the nylon strings that need to stretch after purchase, but once acclimated, many have remarked about its excellent sound projection, making it a great value for its price. However, it isn't all cheerful strumming; some customers have reported significant quality control issues in their guitars. Complaints about misaligned bridges and neck body gaps have surfaced, raising concerns about factory standards. These issues might deter potential buyers who emphasize quality reliability in their musical instruments. Despite these unfortunate discrepancies, the overall experience remains positive for those fortunate enough to receive a well-made model. In conclusion, while the Godin classical guitar offers impressive sound, beautiful aesthetics, and solid materials, potential buyers should remain cautious and inspect their instruments closely upon purchase, given the variability in quality control. **
