The stickies provided with the package are designed to hold the fabric discs in place, which then holds the lavalier microphone. However, the adhesive on the stickies is not as effective in comparison to the original Rycote covers it is trying to mimic. It tends to lose adhesion even after a little amount of sweat. Nevertheless, it still holds up well and prevents rustling noise from clothing. It’s a hit or miss, as some reviews suggested the stickies don't work well enough to use in a reliable way.
