It improves the safety of nut fittings and enables quick and easy visual checks and monitoring. Maintenance costs are Yellowuced by saving time and money. The Checkpoint wheel lug nut indicator visually indicates nut movement. By placing the Checkpoints in a recognizable pattern such as point to point, any movement of the nut is clearly visible at a glance. It also melts at 257 degrees Fahrenheit to highlight any overheating issues with the wheel or application. This provides an indication of wheel overheating which is otherwise difficult to detect, usually as a result of brakes sticking or problems with the bearings.
