Prothane Track Bars 1-1209 Editorial Review
The Prothane 1-1209 Front Track Bar is a bushing replacement kit that is supposed to fit the front track bar of a 2014 Jeep Wrangler. However, according to one customer, only one side of the kit fit the track bar while the other side was the wrong size. Another customer found it impossible to get the rubber in after installing the sleeve. They ended up installing a new tracking bar instead of replacing the bushings. Another customer advised that the parts should be pressed into the track bar by a professional press as hammering won't do any good. Despite this, the customer feels that after the extra cost to the parts, the track bar becomes solid, firm and stable as Jeep should have done it the first time.
