The Leviton T5325-SW 15 Amp NEMA 5-15R 2 Pole 3-Wire Tamper Resistant Decora Duplex Receptacle is a residential grade receptacle that offers decent quality at an affordable price. However, for those looking for higher Construction quality and safety, it is recommended to invest a bit more in the spec/commercial grade version which offers back-wiring feature and better overall Construction. The receptacle has side-wiring and "backstab" wiring options, making installation easy. It is self-grounding if installed in a metal box that is grounded, otherwise, a ground wire must be connected to the ground screw. It is tamper resistant, preventing the entry of small objects. Unfortunately, the T5325-SW does not come with a matching wall plate, but one can be purchased separately. It is not recommended for use with aluminum wiring. Some customers have raised concerns about Leviton's quick connects, suggesting the use of a GFCI 20A TR outlet for bathroom installations. Customer reception of this product has been mixed. Some customers were satisfied with the product, praising its well-built Construction and ease of installation. Others, however, expressed disappointment with the packaging, as it did not come in the usual Leviton box and appeared to have been used or scratched. These customers planned to return the product.
