The rubber is a proprietary blend designed to help reduce noise and vibrations. These mounts come with washers and nuts with an approximate thread size of 8 x 22 mm. They can support up to 480lb. However, they cannot be used in tension. Customer experience and reception: Customers' experiences with this product were mixed. Some found these mounts significantly reduced the noise from their machines by at least 50-75%, while others felt that the product was not fit for this purpose. Others found the mounts were not secure and the bolts came out after a few days or a week of usage. One customer had an accident when one of the mounts fell apart, and the garage door opener almost fell on their car or kids. Some customers found the threads of the mounts were long, making it easier to install, and working well enough to reduce noise and vibration.
