It is made of durable plastic material and comes with a breaking load capacity of 600 lbs. While it is strong, it is not recommended to be used alone without another strong fence behind it, as it might not be able to withstand large dog chewing. The fence is flimsy and can be flexible but is sturdy and durable while being able to deter dogs from pushing through. It is easy to install using zip ties, and it is great for creating areas of separation in gardens, yards or around pools. Despite the name "pet fence", some people have used it for horses, while others have used it to prevent rodents from entering their pet areas.
