However, it is not suitable for food, medical or pharmaceutical use. It is not sterile, and there is no safety data sheet for this oil, but it is ultra-refined. The manufacturer recommends checking the specifications of the turntable before using this oil as a dampening fluid for the tonearm to slow the lowering mechanism as it may be too viscous.
