- STANDARD OPERATION : Insert battery (Gently press the wire and the cables to hold battery will secure it in place) → Power on → MUST preheat 30s (critical) → Adjust indicator to 4th mark (do not skip) → Hold back metal plate → Probe 90° perpendicular to gemstone. Reset to 4th mark before each test
- METAL DETECTION NOTE : Not for metal/gold or gold testing kit use – metal has similar thermal conductivity to diamonds (normal beeping, not a defect). Consistent with title "Jewelry-Only Detection"
