Thrustmaster Racing Wheels 4060059 Editorial Review
The Thrustmaster TH8A Add-On gearbox shifter has garnered predominantly positive reviews from users, highlighting its excellent build quality, immersive feel, and smooth operation, which significantly enhance the racing simulation experience. Users appreciate the versatility of being able to switch between H-pattern and sequential shifting, allowing for a personalized driving experience across various racing games, including popular titles like Dirt Rally 2. Feedback indicates that the shifter integrates seamlessly with Thrustmaster's ecosystem and provides solid mechanical feedback during gear shifts, giving it an edge over competitors like the Logitech G27. While the price point is noted as higher than some alternatives, reviewers generally feel that the quality justifies the investment. Users also mention some minor drawbacks, particularly regarding the mounting system, which was perceived as less than optimal. Some users reported a need for additional anti-rotation measures, especially if the shifter is being used extensively in simulations. Additionally, there were isolated incidents of defective units; however, the supplier's responsiveness in replacing faulty items has been praised. Overall, the Thrustmaster TH8A is lauded as a worthwhile addition for serious gamers looking to enhance their simulation setups, offering reliability and functionality. **
