This solvent can be sprayed on metal aluminum copper, but it should not get on rubber, plastic, vinyl, or paint. The product can be used in gas tanks, with one bottle added after every 5000 miles with a full tank of fuel, to keep the fuel system clean. This cleaner can also be used in cleaning off carbon buildup around an exhaust flange.
