The CMX prep spray should be used before applying the ceramic coating for maximum effect. This easy on and off product does not make suds and removes easily, leaving a shiny topcoat behind. Although it only lasted 3-4 weeks on two different cars, it is still Considered an excellent starter ceramic coating.
